Sadly we wish to inform you of the recent passing of one of our members.

Margaret Thomas (October 2025) 

Marg was truly loved and admired by our Strathmore bowls community.  She was a Life Member and very active with our social committee.  Our thoughts are with Marg’s husband Don and her family and friends at this time.

John Waldren (October 2025)

John (along with his wife Pam) played at Strathmore for many years and was well regarded by members.  He was an active player from the 1980’s until 2018, and served on several committees including the Social, Tournament and Greens committees.  Our condolences are extended to John’s family and friends.

Eunice Lawrence (September 2025)

Eunice was a long standing and much loved member of the club who always helped out in the kitchen.    Our thoughts and condolences are extended to Eunice’s family and friends.
